2025 Legislative Council election forums - New Territories North East Constituency
Shot list
00:00 - 00:43 (Soundbite)(Cantonese) Hong Kong Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, Saying: "Today we held two election forums, for New Territories South West and New Territories North East, respectively. The arrangements for both forums were ideal. In terms of the candidates' performance, including the morale-boosting from their teams, and their overall presentation of platforms and views on various issues to the voters, we believe the forums allowed them to be fully demonstrated and seen by the audience and voters. This has also raised the level of public attention, achieving our expected results." 00:44 - 01:18 (Soundbite)(Cantonese) Hong Kong Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs, Erick Tsang Kwok-wai, Saying: "Actually, when we designed the questions, we hoped they would be more Hong Kong-wide issues that everyone is concerned about; many are issues on which people want candidates to provide their professional opinions. In the debate segment, there are more district-level issues that the local community cares about. In terms of design, we hope that through different segments, they can compare platforms, express their views on district matters, and also state their comprehensive opinions on Hong Kong-wide issues that everyone is more concerned about."
